This page lists every check in the order the app performs it. The receipt is verified, not the shopper. Because the service never connects to a merchant or bank, these limits protect the integrity of every reward.
A receipt qualifies only when Robinhood has issued that brand's stock on Robinhood Chain. If no supported stock exists, the receipt is declined before the reward is calculated.
The standard payout is 3% of the receipt total in the brand's stock. For a wallet's first approved receipt, the first $5 is paid in full and the remainder earns 3%. Later receipts earn the standard 3%.
This worked example uses a real launch-day scan. Because the wallet held 500,000 $SLIX, the $100 cap applied.
Without $SLIX in the wallet, this receipt would pay $20.00. A first receipt totaling $2.31 pays the full $2.31; the same total on a later receipt pays $0.06.
Every limit applies to one wallet over a rolling 24-hour period. There is no lifetime maximum, so future eligible purchases can continue to earn.
A large receipt submitted late in the 24-hour window may pay less than its standalone calculation. The app applies the reward formula first, then the per-receipt cap, then the remaining portion of the $200 daily allowance.
AI extracts the merchant, date, total and receipt number, then assigns a confidence score from 0 to 1 for genuine paper. It also flags screen photos, reprints and inconsistent arithmetic. The score and any flags determine the next step.
Confidence is below 0.2.
The image is treated as invalid rather than borderline. The user is asked to photograph flat paper again in good light.Confidence falls between 0.2 and the acceptance threshold, with no flags.
A reviewer examines the image, the AI assessment and the wallet history, then approves the permitted amount or declines it with a reason. Screen photos, reprints, typed mock-ups, edits and totals that do not match the line items are declined automatically and never enter manual review.Confidence is at least 0.2 and no issue is flagged.
The reward is reserved for the wallet immediately and delivered as stock in about five minutes.Every unsuccessful submission includes a reason. The scanner uses the following messages.
| Reason | Message |
|---|---|
| Unsupported brand | This merchant has no supported public stock, so a reward cannot be issued. |
| Duplicate claim | This receipt has already been claimed by a wallet or submitted from another angle. |
| Receipt too old | Only receipts issued within the past 3 months are eligible. |
| Total above $4,000 | Receipts totaling more than $4,000 are not eligible. Try a smaller purchase. |
| Fourth receipt today | Each wallet can submit three receipts per day. Try again tomorrow. |
| Daily $200 cap reached | This wallet has reached its daily payout limit. Try again tomorrow. |
| Currency is not USD | Only receipts in US dollars are currently supported. |
| Required details are unreadable | The merchant, date or total could not be read. Lay the receipt flat in better light and try again. |
| Confidence below 0.2 | The image could not be verified as a genuine paper receipt. Retake it flat and in good light. |
| Manual review required | This image is difficult to read, so a reviewer is checking it. |
| Service error | The service is temporarily unavailable. The scanner then shows the specific cause, such as insufficient vision-service credit. The receipt remains eligible for another attempt. |
STOCKLIX does not contact the merchant, card issuer or bank. A valid receipt found by someone else could therefore pass these checks. To control that risk, rewards stay small, remain capped and are paid on-chain for public auditing; only wallets holding $SLIX receive the higher cap.
